(Europe Trip) neuschwanstein castle

hello again! Biar ngga hilang semangat nulis.

Anyway, seemed I won’t write my Europe Trip in Chronological Order, I’ll write what ever I wanted to 😀

sunday, October 4th, 2015

One cloudy morning in Munich, we decided to go Neuschwanstein Castle! It’s in Schawangau, another 2 hours from Munich by train. From Munich  Hopbanhoft (Munich Central Station) we took 8.30 am Bayern Train to Fussen. There are 2 class available, first class cost Euro 30 and second class cost Euro 15. Of course, I took the second one #irit!

The O’cornor from Colorado

In front of us was The O’cornor from Boulder, Colorado. The husband works in School of Mines, one of the best mining school in the world *and expensive one* said the wive.

Knowing that we’ve visited both Boulder and School of Mines yearsssss ago, surely made the husband happy! Oh wow!!! You’re the first Indonesian we know!

Anyway, the view from Munich to Fussen in STUNNING!!!! GW NGGA PENGEN PULANGGGG!!!!!!!

walaupun mendung, Hamparan padang rumput yang berwarna hijau dengan rumah rumah kecil para petani diselingi pohon-pohon yang mengalami fase musim gugur INDAHNYAA!!!!!!!! I didn’t want to close my eyes, so I talk to Mr. O’cornor as the mrs and my sister were fell asleep!

Arrived at Fussen, we said good bye to The O’cornor, they stayed overnight in Fussen then will fly to Hamburg then went home after that. While we proceed to take  Bus no 78, that will take us to Schawangau. It’s 10 mins drive. Tiket bus 78 sendiri sudah include sama harga Bayern Train Tiket ya..jadi ngga usah bayar lagi.

Sampai Schawangau, gw cari tempat makan dulu, lapar malih!

sip! plus kopi 1! gone in 5 mins! LAPAR!

So, if you happen to visit this small restaurant just across the tourst information, lihat uang 2 ribu rupiah, dengan tulisan “sikiky was here” it was from me.

Hahahhaha…ngga dink. Gw kasih si Mein Herr 2 ribu rupiah, tapi ngga pake dicoret lah.
Proceed another 5 mins walk to ticket centre. Kalo mau visit castle-nya bayar Euro 12, kalo diluar aja gratis. Kami sengaja milih gratis alias ngga masuk castle! Yang bayar pas ke sini sama Kezia aja (can I get the Amin?). Anyway, kalo mau masuk castle better bought the ticket online kayaknya. Panjanggggg antriannya kalau mau beli ticket on the spot.

Next, Ada 3 alternatives ke Castle.

  1. jalan kaki 2km NANJAK!
  2. Naik kereta kuda macam princess princess Euro 3.50/person
  3. Naik bus Euro 2.60 pp. (One way up Euro 2, one way  down Euro 1 kalo gw ngga salah)

We opt for the third one karena langit makin gelap. Turun dari bus, jalan dulu lalu bisa liat view point-nya.walaupun mendung, viewnya MASYA ALLAH INDAHNYA!!!!!!!!!!!! Gw teriak-teriak sendiri kegirangan. Both kedinginan sama senang sih. Hujan akhirnya turun dengan derasnya.

The Castle on rainy day. We’ll meet again, please!

if travel teaches you how to see, how come every time I see is you? antalogi rasa – ika natassa

*talking to my bill*

Oh ya, unfortunately (lagi) Marienbrücke was closed due to renovation.

Hujan Reda dikit, kita sempetin foto-foto lagi, terus deras lagiii. So, from 220 rooms which were planned, only 14 is ready! Brief story is here.

Sekitar jam 1-an, gw balik ke bawah. And….pas di bawah…matahari bersinar indahnya….argghh…hahahhaha belum rejeki.

So, we took Bus no 78 back to Fussen Hbt, sebenarnya juga bisa jalan kaki. pemandangannya pun INDAH pake BANGET!!! beberapa tourist Polish yang malas nunggu bus plus 2 orang Taiwan gitu akhirnya jalan.

I took a walk around the city of Fussen, looking for lunch as well.  sunday, Most shops (if not all) were closed, and only few cafes open.

I feel soooo blessed!!!!!

peron 2 itu  Ausburg Hbt instead of Munich Hbt.

Hamparan padang rumput warna hijau serta rumah-rumah petani. gw kerap liat pesepeda latihan triahtlon di jalanan. how do I know? they used TT  bike 😉 . Enak banget pasti sepedahan track lurus, aspal mulus udara bersih kayak gitu!!

Or ones who ride a horse, fun bike with families or even take a walk with love ones, mumpung matahari bersinar. OhEm Gee, my kinda of weekend  gate away!!!

Unlike our first train, yang direct non stop Munich-Fussen, kereta ke Ausburg Hbt via Buchloe stops in every station.

Arrived in Buchloe, I took a walk in the peron. gw udah tulis ini di Instagram gw. As i took a walk in the peron, a cleaning man greeted me “Assalamu’alaikum” he said. we made quick conversation after that. he’s  from Somalia, has been in german for 4 years. Adem banget rasanya ditegur saudara se-imam. Condering gw abis deg-degan tingkat dewa dua hari sebelumnya.

small station with clear blue sky!

At 5 pm something sampai Munich lagi, terus makan malam di restoran Arab gitu. Dekat apartemen kami memang daerah pendatang, banyak banget restoran Lebanon/Turki/Arab gitu. Kelar makan beli cemilan lagi macam Indomaret-nya.
